Lighthouse Partners was founded in 2014 by Andrew Newton and Jeffrey Fuller.

Prior to forming Lighthouse Partners, Jeff worked for a private real estate firm based in Orange County. While there he was involved with the funding, restructuring, refinancing, disposition and direct acquisition of over $3.0 billion in multifamily investments, including lender REOs, foreclosures, receivership purchases and other distressed assets totaling approximately 31,000 units. These transactions span Colorado, Texas, Georgia, Hawaii, Arizona and California.


Jeff personally took lead on the acquisition of 5,300 units in Colorado, Southern California and Texas with a total cost of over $500 million. In addition to these acquisitions he personally managed the refinance and/or disposition of 4,700 units for a total transaction cost of $450 million.


Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California. Jeff was also the recipient of the Real Estate Forum “Top 40 Under 40” award in 2012.

Andrew Newton


As a co-founder of Lighthouse Partners, Andrew brings over 16 years of extensive experience in the multifamily industry. He formerly worked for a private real estate firm based in Orange County, taking an active role in acquisition, disposition, financing and equity related matters. During the market downturn in 2008-2010, he further managed negotiations with lenders on loan restructures and modifications.


In total, Andrew was involved with over $3.1 billion in multifamily transactions and financing related activities, totaling over 14,000 units. This comprised of $1.5 billion in acquisition, $1.1 billion in dispositions and an additional $500 million in refinances/loan modifications. Andrew’s transaction market focus included Colorado, Texas, Hawaii, Utah and California.


Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Memorial University of Newfoundland (Canada), and a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Finance, from California State University Long Beach. Additionally, Andrew holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and was the recipient of the Real Estate Forum “Top 40 Under 40” award in 2010.
